These Geese are Playful! Use foundation piecing to assemble a fun and funky Skipping Geese border for your quilt! These border templates are similar to standard flying geese except that they are spaced out, so one goose is “skipped.” Paper piecing is a quick and fun way to ensure accurate, perfect points on every block!

***This is a beginner pattern, but you should be familiar with the foundation paper piecing technique.***

Each template piece is 3” wide by 8” long and when finished contains two geese and two open squares. Combine multiple strips to make longer, funky borders.

This is a great beginner block. Combine scraps to make colorful, happy borders for your quilts!
